off topic - Run time error RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I am running Windows 2000 Professional with SP4 on my desktop.  My ISP is AT&T, and I network with my laptop through a speedstream modem and a Netgear router.  Approximately 1 week ago, I started receiving an error message on my desktop whenever I turn my computer on.  There is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, and the top of the box says "vbalARListBarLib".  The inside of the box says Run-time error '0', and the only option is to click OK.  This box appears numerous times - approximately 15 - and will eventually disappear after continually clicking OK.  I've searched Microsoft's troubleshooting information but cannot find info on this error.  What causes this?  It doesn't seem to affect the computer's performance but is extremely annoying.  What has caused this?  I do weekly antivirus and antispyware scans, backups and defragmenting, and there has been no indication of any problem but I am concerned that it may indicate some problem I am unaware of.  Any advice?
