    XP is no longer supported, you should not be using anything on it.

    Having said that, PowerShell came to XP with SP3. You should have PowerShell version 1 at least. Server 2003 is not yet out of support and can also use PowerShell if you've got that to SP2.

    Beyond that, what do you want to know?

    There are no longer updates of any kind for XP and WS2003 ends in a couple of months.  You should not use an OS after support ends for security reasons.
