Can't access the old server. RRS feed

    Ok, built a new server with 2011. Outside of a few glitches it now works fine.

    Problem is, the old HP475 server can't be accessed now. (And yes, all lites are fine, all machines see it on the network.)

    Keep getting...

    "The referenced account is locked out and may not be logged on to".

    While I really don't need it anymore I'd like to get at it to see if any old data there is important before I dump it. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    From the error message you have received, it seems that the logged on account is not valid.

    I suggest that you could use another account to log on the server such as the member of the local administrative group to access the old files on the old server.

    Problem is I'm not getting a logon screen. When trying to access the dashboard, it seems to hunt for a few seconds and then I get the "referenced account is locked out" error. No option to use a PW.

    I can access all the shared folders but can't get to the dashboard.
