  • Question

  • Ok, i was building a new system for myself, i bought the "Educational home premium" from this website

    http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/124781

The word "Upgrade" features 2 times on the whole page, it doesnt explicitly point out at any time that this version can NOT be used when creating a new system.

I also asked about this on the forums there and nobody mentioned it.

I am 16 years old and a student at college so i should be able to use a educational version, i bought that, its obviously the wrong one even though i have no ever received any information from any source saying that it wouldnt work on a fresh system so apparantly ive wasted FIFTY POUNDS.

The only computer i will use this on is the one im on right now, how in the hell can i get a new validation code and actualy use my computer.

I dont want to reinstall windows it took hours of stress to do it the first time

and i dont want to wait for a ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS parcel to come through my door just the read the damn code of it.

A little help for an honast customer here, who only wants to use his damn computer so he can pass his GCSEs which he is MEANT to be revising for at the moment.

  • Upgrade editions of Vista cannot be used to build new systems and it would be nice if the seller had made that more explicit, however, you'll have to go back to the seller to correct your mistake.
