Sync new Field with Outlook

Hi all,
I was able to add new Field to contact form in MS CRM 4.0 , but unfortunately i was unable to map this field into outlook. so next time the user input some data it should automatically sync it into outlook and the way around.
Can someone help me on this please?

Not possible unfortunately. The mapping between Outlook and CRM is hard coded.Leon Tribe

can a outlook Macro be written to set the values in the custom fields
Ex : crmid,crmlinkstate. or is there any other work around like adding a custom adding from visual studio to outlook.
Greatly appreciated if a resource can be given to the VBA code i am not a skilled developer

Hi Hussain,
you cann't map new fields from CRM to outlook.
