Remote Desktop not working

Question
-
In the past few weeks some of my students and myself have been experiencing an error stating "You are currently using remote computer. Please choose a different computer in your mesh to connect to remotely." I don't know about my student's remote computers, but I am logged into my remote one at home. I have yet checked to see if this wors if I am logged out of my PC at home. We are all using Windows 7 as the remote OS we are connecting to and Windows XP or Windows 7 where we are intiiating the connection from. I think this happened after an update that I noticed was sent out around the end of December. Any ideas what is causing this? I heard there was a case opened, but what is the link to it and the status if the issue if it's being worked on? We have uninstalled and reinstalled the client on both the computers we are connecting from and to and removed/readded the computers in the ring.

Well, it's working now for me today. I will check with my students but maybe it was a glitch in the service on Saturday.

There have been reprots of remote desktop issues all along, but what you are describing sounds new to me. It sounds like Live Mesh thinks that you are already logged into that PC with Live Mesh remote desktop from another machine in the Mesh, therefore you are unable to log in from your current location.
Please submit a bug report with logs:
How to Submit Bugs and Live Mesh Logs
Note that you may not receive a response to the bug report, though. It will be transferred to the internal system to be assigned to the appropriate development group.
