Windows 7 Ultimate product key is blocked. How to resolve? RRS feed

  • Bought a brand new Toshiba notebook with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Upgraded to Windows 7 ultimate via web. Got a product key from my BizSpark msdn subscription (I am in the Bizspark program. I get my product keys directly from msdn.microsoft.com) for Windows 7 ultimate, and put that in during the upgrade process.

    Worked fine for a couple days. Now it says "product key is blocked". ???

    Saw other threads. Ran the mgadiag tool. Here is the output:

  • There are no error messages in the report so try a phone activation by clicking Start and typing 'slui.exe 4' in the Search/Run box.  If that fails, request a new product key on your MSDN Subscriber Downloads page or open a conversation with the MSDN concierge.
