Installed and configured Lexmark x1240 with Vista drivers RRS feed

    It works from the server.  When I attempt to print from a client it says an error occured printing.  No explaination.  I also cannot scan from a client either.  Anyone else using Lexmark x1200 series.  Should I have used the windows xp drivers instead of the vista drivers?  Any ideas?

    That did the trick.  I uninstalled the previous software and installed the xp software and now it all works well.

    have the same problrm.

    I was told to uninstall the x1200 printer.

    Install software after unplugging my printer.

    Go to lexmark home page and download drivers.

    Plug in printer.

     am still working with it.
