Slow response time when answering RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

if I  try to answer some threads it take some seconds to provide the option to type. Also the reaction time on opening threads is quite slow. Some seconds until anything happens.

  • Hi Meinolf,

I'm seeing a pretty fast response when I click on the 'Reply' links now. I was seeing a bit of delay about a half hour ago, but everything seems to be working okay for me now.

Are you still getting delays? If so, I'd probably recommend sending in an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com to directly notify the forums team about this.

  • Hello,

at the moment I didn't have the problem. Wasn't active now about 90 minutes, so maybe it is solved somehow.

  • I have also experienced poor performance and timeouts on TechNet today. I even got pages where the css did not load. I notice that our profile usercards have been updated. Also, Wiki activity is now showing up on the Activity tab of our Profiles, for the first time in several months. I hope these updates have not caused the performance problems.

Edit: Byrant Hawthorne in another thread reports they are working on a bad server they believe is causing performance problems.
