Calls originating from overseas rejected RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have OCS 2007 R2 (although Mediation server is still OCS 2007).  Calls from North America go through fine, but those originating from overseas (confirmed from Poland, anyway) do not seem to be going through.  They arrive at the PBX (old Nortel SL1), but it indicates that the call was rejected by OCS.  Any ideas?

  • Can you do some debug loggin on the mediation server ?
So you can see the Sip messages that are exchanged between mediation server and PBX

Have you defined inbound normalization/location prof for the international location?
How have you configured your IP Gateway to handle international inbound calls ?  are you stripping/additing any digits in the IP GW required by your dialing environment where OCS is hosted?

You should enable logging on the Mediation server for SIP STACK and S4.  Analyze these with the Snooper tool.
