Edit a blog post with WLW

    Question

  • I have a blog with more than 500 post. I'd like to edit a old post giving to WLW the URL of this post. Can do this in the actual WLW version? How?

Actually, is there any option to edit an old post that it is not between the 500 newest post?

On the right hand side of WLW, you should see a list of your recent
posts on the blog. You would click on that, and in the dialog box
change the number of results to "All". Then search for the post you
want to edit, and open it. Make your edits and it should update the post.

    Hope this helps you.

    Have a great day:)

Have you updated your OS and Antivirus today?

Thanks for the answer, but this solution does not serve to me, because I work with several blogs with several posts by day and from different computers.

So, in recent post list I can not find the post that I search, because I can have made it in another PC.

In addition, I can have more than 1000 post, and the time of load the big list can be elevated each time I search one post. We must to add the lost time in the search looking for one post in a big list (> 1000).

The ideal solution for me would be to be able to pass to WLW the URL of post that I want to modify, would be a simple one copy-paste, and, after all, I believe that WLW will finally use something similar information to the post URL  to be able to modify it with the system that you have indicated to me.

  • I was going to clarify the same thing. I've the same problem.

You could attempt to submit this to the developer forum...
