Connecting to OCS2007 with a normal SIP phone RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I can login with Office Communicatior at two workstations and chat or talk between them. :-)

    a) What do I need to connect to OCS with a normal (hardware) SIP phone or X-Lite? I have set the server IP, the login account sip:benni.bunch@intern.contoso.com and my AD-Password. But I can't connect (timeout). The connection to the server seems to be OK, but not the registration.
Where can I see the a logfile whats going wrong (or increase the log-level)?

    b) How is it possible to use ISDN cards in a OCS and use them for internal or external communication?

    Thank you
    Benni

  • The X-lite and much ipphones use a SIP via UDP and OCS use SIP via TCP. You need a gateway//proxy for SIP UDP/TCP for this integration.
