Can you select the language during installation if you buy online? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I live in Belgium and here we speak two languages namely Dutch and French. I want to buy the OneCare Live online but I want to be 100% that the version of OneCare Live that I download during my purchase can be set to English. So my question is whether or not you can select the language of choice during the installation? If not can you then buy a key through a non-English website and then somehow download the English version and install that key?

  • As I replied to your other post, but it is worth replying to this, too.

Purchase a retail copy of OneCare in Belgium and you can install it or simply use the key to activate the subscription. Your IE language in Belgium must be set to Dutch or French during activation of the initial subscription, so you have to deal with French or Dutch in IE, but OneCare will be in the language of your Operating System, as long as it is supported.

You can also simply install from the OneCare web site and purchase a subscription online with a credit card. The same language check will take place for IE during purchase. Once done, OneCare will be in the language of the OS.

  • Hello Stephen

I had a lot of questions and I figured that I better split them up so that if anyone else has the same question they would easily find an answer. Anyway I think I will go for the boxed version because I need to have an invoice would the corporate details on it.

    Regards
