Moving Web Site off C drive RRS feed

    I'm running a external web site with content in the c:\inetpub folder. I'm concerned about the limited size of the C drive and would like to move to D. Can I just create a new folder on the D drive using Windows Explorer and move  \inetpub without compromsing the security of my server?

    I don't fully understand what you mean with compromising security. Normally is should be no problem if you move some or all of your inetpub folder to D partition. Personally I would not move it into WHS share. Also if you move it to D partition the free space of your "landing zone" will decrease. You could also consider moving the folder to a separate disk which has not been added to the WHS storage pool.
