Installing SyncToy on multiple computers RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am sharing files between my dtop (Vista Home Prem 32 bit) and ltop (Vista Home Prem 64bit) machines.  I'd like to be able to run syncs from either side. Can I install SyncToy on each machine, then define the same folder pair on each and be able to begin the sync operation from either machine without messing anything up?  Thanks, TR

  • You posted in the Windows Home Server forum; Synctoy is not a part of Windows Home Server. Synctoy is an unsupported (in any official sense) Microsoft utility; you'll find the available information on using it on the Microsoft web site. Here's a search to get you started.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
