I am trying to send emails using Dynamics CRM 4.0. I have installed CRM 4.0 and have installed Rollups 1, 2 , 3, and 4. When I try to send a email for a contact or an account I get a message saying that one of the recipients does not have an email address or does not allow emails. There is only one account and one contact they both have an email address and allow emails.
Can anyone help with this. I think this is a known problem but I can not find a fix.
two things I can think of....Have you selected the option to allow emails with unresolved addresses to go? Or, is the item on the admin tab that addresses allowed/preferred communications set to not allow emails to go?
to check the allow unresolved setting....
Settings -> Administration -> System Settings -> Email tab -> item Set email form options
