MS Connect bug

Question
-
Hi everybody,
This is not Forums' bug but rather MS Connect bug but I'm not sure which forum is best suited to report it.
If I open a Connect link from a thread, say, https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/416197/the-missing-index-feature-suggests-an-index-which-is-already-present I can see the item. As soon as I try to log in in order to vote it, I'm getting 'Page not found' error. And then I'm unable to re-open this page again (unless trying in Anonymous mode).
I am using Google Chrome, but I don't think this bug is browser related.
Apparently MS doesn't want us to vote on bugs.

Hi Naomi,
I might try one of these contact methods:

I think I used the second link in the past to report that same problem, but I did again today just in case.

No response, BTW, and the problem is still there. Do you have the same problem?

I am using Google Chrome and I again reproduced this problem. As soon as I click on the Sign in button I immediately get 'Page not found or you don't have permission'. It's extremely annoying :((( I don't know whom to ask for help.

A few weeks ago I tried to find bug/documentation reports that I knew were reported in connect a few months ago, but was unable to find them. That is a different problem, but in my experience connect is not well maintained.

It looks like Connect is slowly being abandoned in favor of UserVoice (which I don't really like either, searching is terrible from my experience).
The PowerShell team recently pulled the plug and made the transition.

Just spent about 10 minutes trying to find that bug from the main page. That particular bug never turned up. Trying link directly still produces 404 page. Advanced search doesn't allow to enter search criteria, so it's useless.

This sounds like a Cookies problem (not yours, theirs--it happens). Does InPrivate browsing help you use the item? It would require you to login on that session, of course.
is Closed so maybe that's causing a problem with it? E.g. locked to some extent.
Here's an Advanced Search results page for that item number
https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/SearchResults.aspx?SearchQuery=416197
Here's the second result, the still active item

I tried opening the page in incognito window, then sign in (it opened a sign in form). After that I got the same 'Page not found'.
From the Advanced Search I was already logged in and it worked fine. The last link also worked fine for me and I voted it up.

I'm still getting the same problem. I just emailed fissues as I never got any replies from these pages.
Say, I got email (from latest twit by Adam Machanic) about this issue
I viewed it, when logged in in order to vote and afterwards got this 'Page not found'. Tried going to SQL Server, then from that page search by Id but ended into the same 'Not found' page.
This is getting on my nerves now.

What about the opposite case, don't be logged in, click on Sign in to Vote and trace that? FWIW that case worked for me. Everything happened automagically but there were a few redirects including changes in the Address bar.

That's what I meant when I said 'logged in'. I came to the page, I'm not signed it (even though I am signed it to the forums). As soon as I click on 'Sign in' I get this 404 error page.
