homeserverconsole.exe - application error RRS feed

    I got an homeserverconsole.exe - application error dialog box saying:

    "Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process ID=0xbc4(3012), Thread ID=0xb80(2944)"

    I've been using pp1 beta without any problem, so today i decided to go to each shared folder and delete all the data in it, after that i transfered 2.5gb of photos to the photos share and after it was finished i waited 30m.

    After that i started copying some norton ghost images with 2 files of 16GB each to the shares and let it do its business.

    I came back an hour later and it was still saying 65minutes to finnish copying and all of a sudden a error dialog box.

    After this the console locked up and i shut it down

    I had installed the disk management plug-in before clean the share folders.
    I dont know if this is the cause for the error


    I know that disk management was some problems with pp1 beta, but i didn't remove/add any harddrive

  • Could you please go to Connect and file a bug report? Include that cab #, which I assume was from your server, and one from the client that was doing the copy.

    I sent both logs (server and client) to Connect and also a screen capture of the error.
