  • This leaves me puzzled, too. For 1, you say that you have Office XP Developer Edition, but here it says: Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage - 101 Not Activated. You could also contact Microsoft Support at support.microsoft.com/oas

  • Hello oscarw,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) program forum.
Your issue is related to Windows Product Activation.  In an attempt to assist I would like to provide some information which may or may not help.

There are two methods for activating Office. Activation by telephone and by way of the Internet. Internet activation is the easier of the two methods. To activate the product by using the Internet, see the following.

    Internet Activation:

    Start any office program.

In the Office activation wizard, click Activate by using Internet option, and then click Next.

Click Submit to send your information to the Office 2007 Licensing servers.

NOTE:  When your information is validated, the Activation Complete page appears.  Then, you can use Office 2007.  You will not have to activate Office 2007 in the future.

    Click Finish.

    Telephone Activation:

    Start any Office program.

In the Office activation wizard, click Activate by using the telephone option, and then click Next.

Read the Microsoft Office Privacy Policy page, and then click Next.

Note: You are not required to read the Microsoft Office Privacy Policy page to continue these steps in Microsoft Office 2007. A link to the Microsoft Office Privacy Policy is provided so that you can read it at any time.

In the Select your location list, select a country or region. Call the telephone number that is listed on line 2. The customer service agent will ask you for the installation ID and will give you a confirmation ID in return. Type the confirmation ID in the boxes provided.

    Then click Next.

On the Activation Complete page, click Finish.

Please reference the following site for activation and registration centers for Microsoft products.

    From the Desktop:

    1.

Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the taskbar notification area next to the clock.

    2.

Click Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows now.

    3.

Click Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement, click Back, and then click Next.

    4.

Follow the steps in the “Activate Windows by phone” dialog box, and then click Next.

Note The number appears now and differs based on the location that you select.

    5.

When activation is completed and you receive the following message:
