Merge Cases in SP1 not available

Question
-
SP1 was supposed to provide the ability to merge cases. I have a completely new deployment, and when I select 2 cases, the Merge option is not available. What am I missing? Do I have to add using the Ribbon Workbench?

Navigate to the Administration page, you will see Install Product Updates as a selection in the lower right corner. Be advised, that if you enable the Service Management module, you cannot go back. I suggest trying in development first.

Not really
if you install CRM 2013 with rollup 1 , 2 and SP1, you just need to select at least 2 cases
its available for the cases entity (but you won't see until you select at least 2 rows)
however if you use the ribbon workbench tool, you will see the merge button is also available for other entities. just not sure if enabling it would work for other entities

I know how to merge cases, the issue is the Merge Cases command is not available on the Command Line, and not in More Commands. Where is it?

First, check your CRM version to make sure the SP1 is completely installed
Can you check the version number? it should display 6.1.0000.0581 twice (sometimes something goes wrong and bombs the database and you may see two different version numbers)
Do you have the ribbon workbench installed? (if not get it here http://www.develop1.net/public/page/Ribbon-Workbench-for-Dynamics-CRM-2011.aspx)
if you open any entity, you should see the merge button there like this:
if it is not there, something is wrong with your installation
if the version numbers are correct and the button is not even hidden, you can also check the installation logs. if it looks all normal, raise a ticket with Microsoft or try to install again
