How do I know if my vista is 64 or 32 bit?

We just bought it.  My friend who works for Microsoft said, "get windows live one care".  But it won't load on our new HP laptop.

  • Click on the Vista start "orb" and then right click on "Computer" to see the properties. When the properties dialog comes up you will see if the OS is 32 bit or 64 bit. If it is the latter, when 2.0 is released shortly, you will be able to install it from http://onecare.live.com to Vista X64.
