Suggestion: Suspend WHS Backup When Necessary

General discussion
-
?The above suggestion can be found on Connect at:
Today I received the following message:
"We are aware of the particular feature request that you have reported. However, due to circumstances we will not be able to address it in the current release, it will continue to be tracked in our system and we will aim to address it in the near future.
Best wishes,
Windows Home Server Team"This gives me some hope that the Team will continue to work to give us a working WHS solution.

I got one still active. All others are either Won't Fix, Postponed, By Design, or External. I received no notifications.

Interestingly I have also had no feedback from connect for a considerable time. But last night got an email about one of my bug reports with a changed status from "Closed to Active".
Very confusing. May be they found another "bug" in my bug :).

Or, maybe a new set of eyes looked at your 'bug' and found it to have enough merit to be worked on in the RC we hope to get tomorrow, Dave. :)Nancy Ward

Hi,
I have also had two bugs i reported months ago reopened this week.
Maybe they realise that this RC is not a perfect as they had hoped for (MAC support still dodgy) and are trying to hammer out lots more bugs before release. Personally this this RC is the first iteration without DE, i would prefer they had another RC before RTM.
