  • It's not the order but the combination of 70-536 with other exams, please see the link below:

  • You can take any certification exams in any order. None of the exams require you to pass another exam before.

However, if you want to attain a certain certification, you need to pass all of the exams required for that certification, in any order.

In the specific case of the "MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications" certification, you need to pass *both* 70-536 and 70-562, in any order.

Or you may chose to pursue the certification "MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications" (i.e.: version 4.0 instead of version 3.5). In this case, you only need to pass exam 70-515 and you don't need 70-536.

ans. No, It is not Compulsory to Pass 70-536 exam. If you want to appear 70-562 before passing 70-536 then there is no issue. You can appear.

If you want to Become " Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications"  then 70-536 is necessary to pass.

Without passing 70-536 you will not become MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications
