  thank you very much and yes I was aware that I could see all my threads in the activity window. I as a matter of fact tried it as well before I posted this post and it didn't work but now it is working. When I tired it immediately after I moved it, i was getting an error message that I do not exactly remember but it was something like 'you do not have permission to perform this action'

  In the whole morning today the T-SQL forum produced the 'Server Error'. So, I noticed that many threads were moved by the moderator and eventually the problem got resolved.

  So, it was just a coincidence, you did nothing wrong.

  You can also find your threads, no matter where they are, by clicking "Quick Access" and selecting "My Threads". But I think in this particular case, there was an unusual temporary problem.
