Help with Certificate and Communicator Auto Connect RRS feed

  • Question

    Hi all,

Need a little bit of a help here.

It's probably pretty simple but I just can't seems to figure it out.

    This is the situation.

I'm able to sign-in to the OCS server when I use manual connect to the TLS server ocs.domain.local.

But when I try to do the auto sign-in, I kept getting an error Event ID 4 on the client Event Viewer - Application.

It says: "Communicator could not connect securely to server ocs.domain.com because the certificate presented by the server did not match the expected hostname (ocs.domain.com).

So, my question is how do I redirect the auto sign-in to server ocs.domain.local instead of ocs.domain.com?

Is this because of our sign in? We were using email@domain.com instead of email@domain.local.

Is it possible to install to certicate on the ocs server? If it is please advise? I have tried it to add ocs.domain.com to the ocs server but it says that the FQDN is not the same so I have to use ocs.domain.local instead.

    Please help.

    Any Experts?

    Thank you!!
