Send an email when an user is disabled RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    How can I Send email to administrator, when a user is disabled on MS CRM

  • I'm guessing to fully meet the requirement, you'll either need to write a plugin to fire on update of the user record -

    Short of that, you could add a workflow that checks for changes to the last modified date and if it's modified, check the state of the record - tere are probably chances of false positives being sent based on that criteria.

    (As you've probably found already, the normal WF options of checking for status changes or watching the status value of the record are not available on the System User record.)

  • Yeah, as you rightly said I tried it to achieve this with workflow  but could not do it as status changes of the record are not available on the System User entity

    I would try your plug-in suggestion though, and will revert back on Monday
