500 Errors back - and more often than ever

Question
-
There seems to be something seriously wrong with the forum system in the past couple of days.
Not only are 500 errors back but they are sometimes running at one in two attempts to post/move etc. which makes getting anything done here something requiring a lot of patience. (Luckily I'm at home and not paying through the nose per minute for INet access in some hotel!)

We've had issues in our backend servers that we've fixed yesterday. Part of the problem is that we had one of our backend sql servers (read only servers) not replicating data correctly which caused data to be out of sync.
Let us know if you're still encountering any issues.

It was Sunday and Monday (Finnish days!) and was for just about everything. Posts needing authentication didn't give 500 errors but just a box with a brief error message and you needed to re-send several times to get them through, but otherwise opening posts; opening forums; opening My Forum Treads all gave 500 messages. This was using two different PCs (one a Mac) and two different browsers (one IE8) so it's not machine or OS specific. It seems to have cleared - today Tuesday (in Finland = 10 hours ahead of Redmond) I haven't had a single one.Mike
