Send SMS time error RRS feed

  • Hi, we have a Dynamics CRM 2015 application which runs in Denmark. We have a service where we send SMS for booked appointments. We are facing a problem that if the appointment is booked at 8 AM, it sends the message as 7 AM to the user. It was working fine till now. Has it something to do with the daylight savings ? Please help me resolve this issue.

    It looks like this is non-standard functionality so my suggestion is to get in touch with developer of this functionality and ask why it works the way it works.

  • The problem is it was developed by some other developer which we cannot contact.  After analysing i found that it has something to do with the daylight saving. Many times in code he as used ToLocalTime for different variables.

  • I'm really sorry but you have to troubleshoot your issue or find a way to get in touch with developer who developed your code.
