Outlook pst file access problem from network RRS feed

  • I have more than 70nos .pst file, my outlook is connected with ms exchange & i kept those pst files in a network drive. After a certain period of time some pst are not accessible but after closing & reopening outlook all the pst are accessible for few moments & again the same things happen.

  • Unfortunately, accessing .pst files over a network is unsupported:

    Personal folder files are unsupported over a LAN or over a WAN link

  • You've posted in the Windows Home Server forums; a forum or newsgroup for Microsoft Office would be a better place to ask your quesiton. That said, Andreas is correct; storing .pst files on a network share is known to cause corruption of them over time.


    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • Thanks for your suggestion but due to HDD corruption i had to save my .pst file in the network drive. Though when i was using win2000 everythig was working fine. After vista upgradation i am facing this sort of problem. If you have any suggestion please help.
