    Hello

     

    My name is bart I'm learning to be a web master I have a web site up now for 4 months, I read a lot about the importance of links and back links. since i'm new how do I get back links or links?

    I read that using banner exchange programs are not a good option, or are they?

    Currantly I'm not ranked on any of the search engines. Hell i can't even find me.

    Maybe this is retarted question or it has been asked before, but I'm in the learning stage.

    I would check out some sites such as seomoz.org, seroundtable.com and webmasterworld for articles on building backlinks.
