    I m looking for resources for developing accounting and inventory management software (windows based). I wanna use this software in India for small garment store. Is there any website where i can find free source code to start off. looking for C#.Net code.

    You just go and try http://www.advanceware.net. It is a inventory software which can help you alot in whatever you are willing to do.
