blue screen during installation RRS feed

  • Question

  • During WHS installation using a bootable dvd i am getting a blue screen error

The error happens when setup has copied the installation files to the hard drive and when it restarts and tries to load up (in the xp setup style). Right then when it says "Setup is starting Windows" it just crashes with this blue screen error message does anyone know how to fix this / What i'm doing wrong?

Here is the Blue screen Error Message

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

     Technical Information

     *** STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF789EA94, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

Any ideas as to why this might be happening?
