    Hello,

    How do I build an OLAP Cube (Which cube, which Dimensions, which measures) to see the unsubmitted timesheets.

    Same question for the unapproved Timesheets.

    For the "submitted", "unapproved" timesheets, you can use the "time sheet" cube and the "timesheet status" measure to filter.

    Also, implementng the report pack does not involve any development. The reports are prebuilt, you just deploy them to your Analysis server.. Its fairly easy. They can also be accessed via a sharepoint site as well.

    Your organization might want to consider an alternate path for viewing unsubmitted timesheets.  Everyone who is a member of the Resource Managers group, and is specified as the Timesheet Manager for one or more resources, can navigate to the Timesheet Approvals page in PWA and view unsubmitted timesheets for the resources who report to him/her.  He/she can do this by clicking the Timesheet link in the Approvals section of the Quick Launch menu.  On the Timesheet Approvals page, he/she must select the "My Resources Unsubmitted Timesheets" option and then clicking the Apply button.  The page will then reveal every user that has not submitted a timesheet that is due, as well as the current status of the timesheet, such as whether the user has even created the timesheet yet.  Would that not work better for your organization, since that puts the ball in the court of the timesheet managers who actually need to deal with the people who are not submitting timesheets in a timely manner?  Just an additional thought.  Hope this helps.

    Hi You may want to check out the EPM report pack over at http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/EPMReportPack which includes a great timesheet compliance report that may meet your requirements. Hope this helps.

    Hello WLID1966

    I was thinking about your question about unsubmitted timesheets.  If the timesheets are unsubmitted, then everything is zero.

    What are you looking for?  The count of unsubmitted timesheets per week.  How do you handle when the sheets have been submitted?  Do you reduce the count?

    I' am curious as to what you are needing. Anyway, I know you have some objective,for wanting this data.  Can you be more specific?

    I just want to see the resources who are late to submit their timesheets.

    Is there another way to check that?

    That's a very good idea. Right now, we don't have any Resource Managers in our RBS, but we will think about that.
