It would be really helpful to come to the Forums home page and see the forums collapsed. For example, I should only see .Net Development, then Visual Studio. I should not see all of the sub topics under .Net Development until I hit a link to uncollapse
them.
A better solution for your example is to use a customized Favorite which only selects the categories that you are interested in.

However, I agree that if I would then back up to the full list I would prefer to see it collapsed to avoid the overhead of showing it and to make finds easier if I don't first collapse it.
So that would be changing the default for the categories pages that we are proposing changing. As an alternative to having that I would like to know if there is an override variable which could accomplish the same objective by
coding it in a Favorite.
Looks like it would also be useful to be able to go "up" to see the whole list from a category too. I just assumed that was already possible. ; }
