Error installing Group Chat for OCS 2007 R2 RRS feed

    I'm getting an error at the tail end of the Group Chat installation that says 

    "Error creating trusted service for Channel Server"

    and then rolls back the installation.  Does anyone know what would cause this or how I can chase it down?

    The trusted service is an Active Directory entry.  Does the account you are using to install have all the permissions outlined in the documentation?

    Mike,

    Thanks for helping, Mike.  Your gentle prodding forced me to re-read this crucial sentence in the installation instructions.

    Installation of Group Chat requires the same permissions as installation of Office Communications Server, so the user installing it must be a member of the RTCUniversalServerAdmins group or Domain Admins group.

    That was the key.  I was a local admin, but not a domain admin.
