Hi guys,
I have a problem that when I use vpn to configure my outlook account first, that means I can "Check Name" via Outlook, I can start Outlook anywhere successfully. However, if I directly configure Outlook anywhere at home, I can not pass "check name". And if I walk around "check name" and directly click "Next" and start Outlook, it says "Exchange Server is not avaliable". Tried this KB, but no luck...

If you attempt to configure Outlook for RPC over HTTPS remotely then you'll need to skip past the Check Name portion as you have done and then populate the Exchange Proxy Settings manually in the Profile. With Exchange/Outlook 2003 does not auto-connect externally as does Outlook Anywhere for Exchange/Outlook 2007.
