  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a link CRM for Outlook which is present on right hand side which when clicked does nothing.

How will i integrated crm outlook with crm??

when i fire a mail it should directly go to the receivers end and it should not ask again in outlook do you want to send?

Rather it should not wait for me to click in outlook for the mails to go to receivers.

  • Hi,

I think you should install Microsoft dynamic CRM E-mail Router for this.

    Refer below link.

  • Hi Kiran,

    From SDK

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Office Outlook can only be used when you are connected to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server through the network. It enables multiple users to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM through Outlook on the same computer. A simple way to understand it is that it provides access to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web application through Outlook.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Office Outlook with Offline Access supports offline use. Users interact with Microsoft Dynamics CRM data in Outlook exactly like they do in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook. To support offline use, Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook with Offline Access uses a local version of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web application hosted on a local Web server. This local Web server can only be used for the local instance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook with Offline Access to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM. A SQL Server 2005 Express database provides data storage.

I will suggest you to download latest MS CRM SDK

  • Hi Kiran,

It does not mean that you will get mails, but it means you can use MS CRM while you are not connected to CRM Server. your data that you have created in outlook will synchronized in MS CRM server when you will be connected to CRM Server.

Also it's a valid link and working

If it can only be used from within the network, why does the configuation tool ask for a network url and and a url for external connection?

No.  Outlook with Offline Access give you offline access to CRM NOT Exchange.

    Mahain
In this case "Online" doesn't mean Outlook, it means CRM software as service from Microsoft.
