System Center Prerequisites - SQL Sever TCP port failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I’ll be very happy if  some of you will help me pass the system center installation prerequisite-SQL server TCP PORT-failed-Configuration Manager primary site and central administration site require SQL Server Tcp is enabled and set to Static port.

I’ve made sure that that settings are  correct( I think )-in the sql server network port settings.

I’ve tried to change  and enable them with no change-in the sql network tcp properties.

The port is 1333 and its not dynamic, and changing the port wont allow me to continue the installation.

I’m talking about SQL server 2012 sp1 and System Center 2012

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks

  • Hey,

I'm currently trying to test the new SCCM 1511, but I always get the same error during the Prerequisite test.

TCP is enabled and the Port is 1433.

    I use Win Server 202 R2 and SQL 2012.

Any help on this problem will be appreciated :)

    Thank you
