Site submit to the MSBOT RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We submitted two sites, #www.cheapinsurance.net and #www.3localagents.com, 10 days ago to  http://search.live.com/docs/submit.aspx?FORM=SUN and neither site is listed in the index yet.

Any idea how long it takes and did I submit it to the right place?

  • Dnouora,

Did you say they removed you from the index? If so, you may need to request reinclusion. I am not showing any blocking issues from my side, but that doesn't include URL removals. I strongly suggest filling out a reinclusion request for those sites even if you didn't intend for them to be excluded that might have been what happened.

Select "content inclusion request" in the drop-down list. I would also outline the issue, who you've talked to, etc. in the text field.

  • HI!
It take some days to be indexed in MSN! 1 week or some more days! Be patient!

  • Hi,

Weren't your sites listed a few months ago? Also, your 3localagents.com is listed under https (and accessable through https). Is that intentional?

  • We were having duplicate content issues regarding www and non-www pages.  We sent an email request and they did a complete scrubbing and removed all pages from the index.  Once the scrubbing was done they said to resubmit which we did 11 days ago but we still are back in yet.

As for the https on 3localagents.com we don't have any idea how that happened.  They said to block those pages using robots.txt and request that those get removed as well.

  • Bump, Bump!

Any idea on how long this can take?  Is there a waiting period to be reincluded if you were manually removed?

  • Bump! Bump! Bump!

Hello, it has now been 3 weeks since we re-submitted our sites to the MSBOT and still nothing.  Today we removed the sites from webmaster tools, re-added the sites and changed the Authentication code to the new ones.

We have a ticket in, (SRX1082445894ID), James in the escalation team has been working with us for the past 6 weeks on this.  He too submitted us again on 12-18-2008 but we still are not showing up.

Also, for some reason the https version of 3localagents.com was indexed of which we did not want. We recently added a noindex for the https version of 3localagents.com.  MSBOT has been by a couple of times since and continues to update the https version but still does not index the standard http version.

    Any ideas?

  • We submitted the re-inclusion request for #www.cheapinsurance.net.

We have 67 pages in our sitemap.

Our quality score is a 5.

We are not blocking any pages in robots.txt.

Our site is w3 validated for xhtml, css, and p3p.

    Our site uses compression.

    We have hackersafe compliance.

We have hundreds of inlinks with quality scores of 4-5.

We only have 2 outbound links which are high quality sites with p3p policies.

Keyword density is 3-5% max, no spamming.

MSNbot visits our site but there is no update and it is not adding the other pages.

Makes no sense.  I know this is an automated process but there seems to be something wrong with our site preventing it from properly being crawled/indexed.  If anyone is interested in reveiwing our site and headers and see if we have some sort of problem there or with the e-tag we would appreciate any feedback.
