Signing into forums leaves sign in link on page RRS feed

  • When I sign into the forums using my live ID the list of links i.e. My Settings, My Profile don't appear.  I need to click Sign In again before they appear.

    After signing into forums I should see all the thinks immediately.

  • Thanks for reporting. We have a bug on this. This bug is integration with Live Passport and usually not related for Forums. It's not consistently happening and I/we do get reports about this from time to time. You may want to try deleting your cookies and see if this fixes it. However, we found this to be passport (live) related issue.

  • I am not sure you understand the bug I have.

    After I sign in, I still see the Sign In link.  Here at the steps.

    Go the Forums page
    Click sign in
    Input my live id and password and press sign in
    The forums page loads again WITH the same sign in link
    Click sign in AGAIN and then only can I see the links

    IE 8 ?

    click tools and go to internet options on the general tab click delete history

    or safety and delete history , carefull if you flag the option passwords , make sure you have all passwords for other sites , clean your history

    do you use live messenger ?

    to be sure you can use the onecare scanner also , link below in sig , unflag the anti virus check and see what it does , after its done before you delete clcik the drives and see what folders you can click to remove all , ... delete click done and reboot , that should do it
