  Hello Sholove.

  This question should be asked in the Microsoft Community Forums for Windows at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows.
  Anyway, Windows XP Professional can be safely upgraded to Windows Vista Business or Windows Vista Ultimate; any other upgrade will require you to perform a clean installation as documented at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/upgrading-from-windows-xp-to-windows-vista.
