  • I have taught online using Citrix GoToTraining, which is not free but was provided to me by the training center that commissioned the courses. In my experience, this is perfectly fine for giving a lecture to the attendees, and also for answering their questions. However, getting the students to do the labs tends to be awkward. Even though the tool allows them to share the screen and make questions, this tends to not go well (the students are reluctant to share). So in my experience, this type of training is more useful for seminar-type training than for typical IT courses that include labs and practices.
