We are currently costing Office Communications Server for our organisation, but Im struggling to find anything which states suggested server specifications.
I'm looking to purchase the server from Dell, and initially it will only be supports messaging using Office Communicator for around 1,000 clients. There will be a small amount of video and audio conferencing (person to person).
Long term we will be looking to integrate with our VOIP network, phone access to email and web conferencing.
Could anyone advise if there is a ticksheet for a server specification?
Could I also confirm if purchasing the following licenses would cover us initially;
Office Communications Server Enterprise x 1
Office Communications Server Standard CAL (x1000 staff)
