    HELP!!! Keep getting error code 0006-8000-4005 when trying to re-install.  Firewall closed.  Antivirus program un-installed. Don't understand why?

    texaskid_Julian,

     

    You may still have OneCare installed on your system or some components for OneCare may still be in remaining.

    Try using this tool first: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=87330 then try to install OneCare again. If you are using Windows Vista you must save the file first then run it as administrator.
