  • Question

  • I know Windows Home Server supports 2, but does anyone know if they support these big guys?

  • No. Windows Home Server V1 uses an MBR style partition table, which limits the maximum size of a disk to 2 TB. In addition, these are "Advanced Format" disks, which require special handling to use in the server's storage pool, and which shouldn't be used as a Windows Home Server system drive.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
