why window 7 update kills the hp 4700 printer ? RRS feed

    the other day ,

    i met new problem with hp laserjet c4700 color printer.

    suddenly the printer starts to print black and white on whole network.

    so i replace the mainboard of the printer but no help.

    after hours of digging.

     i realized the xp computers work fine on the same network.

    i started to reinstall  some printer drivers from hp web site. there is only one driver is working.

    i wasted many many times to replace the driver for every window7 computers.

    Please stop the stupid microsoft's updates!
