Upgrading to IE7

I am currently using IE6 with Windows XP Home SP3. What is the correct way to upgrade to IE7? Should I uninstall SP3, then install IE7 and then reinstall SP3?

Perhaps not, but that is where you can post your question and have it answered by someone who is expert in Internet Explorer.
