Update appointment start/end time using JavaScript in Outlook client RRS feed

  • Hi

    I have a client where we have a custom option set field on appointment, with values or AM/PM. We have JavaScript which when scheduling an appointment in CRM and selecting the am/pm option, changes the start and end dates as appropriate.

    This works fine in web client but not in Outlook, presumably because the start and end times are within the native Outlook client. The am/pm field is available on the CRM fields tab and other JavaScript works on this tab.

    So the cause seems clear, anyone know of a workround?

  • Sorry - found the solution myself.

    Rollup 16 on CRM 2011 apparently fixes this. Have not had a chance to verify but is in the list of fixes.
