Find leads without activities RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I’m trying to define a search of leads without any active activities using CRM 3.0.

    This

    1) Lead status = open
    2) Activity (reference)
2a) Activity – contains no data

    or this doesn’t work:

    1) Lead status = open
    2) Activity (reference)
2a) Activity state NOT open, planned

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Michael

  • You're not doing anything wrong. Unfortunately the CRM find mechanism doesn't support this type of query. You have 2 options:

    1. Write a Reporting Services report to return the data you want
    2. Add a flag attribute to the lead entity, which gets updated by a plugin when you create, delete and complete activities, such that the flag always reflects whether there are any open activities. Then use the flag field in your search

  • Hi
if you are using Microsoft CRM 4.0 it is a report called neglecting leads.
You can schedule this report using report scheduler

    Best regards
