CRM 2016 - Views/ Configure Sorting Issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Quick question in CRM 2016 On Prem.  Trying to change a view so that it sorts by a particular field.  Happy with how to do this normally with configure sort.  For some reason, the field I want to sort by doesn't come up in the list of fields to configure sort by, despite already being in the view!  The only thing I can think of is that it is a calculated and decimal field (it adds up two other fields to give a total, and its this total I want to sort by highest first).  Im out of ideas.

I know nothing whatsoever about coding, so if that's the only answer, if someone can tell me stage for stage what buttons to press, that would be great :)

    Alex

  • Hello,

You should ask in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Forum on the Microsoft Dynamics Community.

As Microsoft's Dynamics Community forums are on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.
